How do I make a reservation? Do I have to book in advance?
We prefer you make your reservation on our user-friendly, online reservation system or you may call us at 1(833) 247-6689.
We expect our tours to fill up fast during the late spring and summer months, so we recommend you book as far in advance as possible.
What if I don't see the tour, day or time that interests me or fits my schedule?
We offer a wide variety of tours that are available for immediate online booking. Some tours are limited to a specific day/time of the week due to our vendors' availability. If you are booking online and you don't see the specific tour, day or time that fits your schedule, please contact us so we can do our best to create a tour and time that fits your needs.
What do you suggest for groups?
All of our tours have Public Tour (default) and Private Tour options. The Public Tour option allows for reservations to be made by any and all guests until the bus reaches capacity. If you have a group of (2) two or more and would prefer a more intimate experience with just those in your party, our Private Tour option allows you to reserve the entire bus. Just look for the "Wanna Make It A Private Tour" option on the Book Now calendar at checkout.
Want or need something a little different? Check out our "Have It Your Way Private Tour" that allows you to, well, have it your way! Give us a call, send us an e-mail or if you prefer, fill out the Private Charters contact form and we'll help you create a memorable tour for you and your group.
How many passengers can you accommodate? What can I bring on board?
Gwennie comfortably seats up to seven (7) passengers.
We love travelin' light - there's room on the bus for handbags, purses, backpacks, etc., as long as they fit under the middle row seat or on your lap. We are unable to accommodate luggage.
Do you accept walk-ups?
Absolutely! As long as there’s space available, we’d be delighted to have you join us or book another tour if the current one is full.
Are kids allowed on the tours?
We love kiddos! However, due to the intimate nature of Gwennie’s seating and for the enjoyment of all, children ages 5 and under are permitted only when reserving the entire bus for a private tour. Just select your tour, click on Book Now and then click on the "Wanna Make It A Private Tour" option on the Book Now calendar. Please remember to bring appropriate child seating as we do not keep booster seats onboard.
How early should I arrive before our tour? What if I'm late?
We kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour.
Any guests that miss their departure time will forfeit their fare. We do realize things happen so please contact Feelin’ Groovy Tours at least 72 hours in advance if something unexpected comes up and you’re unable to join us. This allows us to reschedule your tour or resell your seats. Please see our Cancellation Policy for more information.
What if I need to re-schedule or cancel my tour?
Cancellation Policy: We offer a full refund if you contact us at least 72 hours prior to the start of your tour. Reservations that are cancelled within 72 hours of your scheduled tour are non-refundable. In either case, we're unable to refund the transaction fee. We do realize unexpected things can happen that are beyond our control and we'll do everything possible to help you move your reservation to a different day/time, subject to availability. To re-schedule your tour or to cancel your reservation, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 1(833) 247-6689
Should we tip our guide?
We love and appreciate your tips! They let us know we're doing a great job! If you feel you’ve had a totally groovy, out-of-this-world experience and would like to show your gratitude, we’d love to know! Customary gratuities are 15-20% of each person’s fare in your group. No cash on hand? We have an app for that :)
What if the weather is bad?
As they say in North Idaho, “The weather can turn on a dime.” As long as the rain isn’t a torrential downpour, we’ll keep on truckin’. If needed, umbrellas are on board for each guest. By the way, we get some awesome summer rainstorms up here in which the sun, rain and clouds create a palate of glorious color in the sky!
Note: The Ain't No Mountain High Enough tour at Schweitzer Mountain and the Touring Trifecta are "weather permitting" and may be subject to cancellation.
Can you accommodate guests with disabilities?
Yes, we will do our best to accommodate your specific needs, however, we are unable to store wheelchairs and walkers unless the entire bus is reserved. Please contact us if you have further questions.
Can I bring my service dog? Can I bring my pet?
Gwennie’s seating is limited to 7 guests and floor space is limited as well. Your service dog would be required to stay on the floor of the bus at all times and not impede entry or exit from the bus. Please contact us if additional information is required.
Because of Gwennie’s seating arrangement, we cannot accommodate pets. If you need excellent doggy day care or extended lodging for Fido, please call Pend Oreille Pet Lodge at 208-255-7687 and tell them Feelin’ Groovy Tours sent ya.
Where do I park? Where do you pick up and drop off? Can you pick me up?
Pick up and drop off points, as well as parking suggestions will be indicated in each tour description under "Things You Need to Know."
Some but not all of our tours include free pick up and drop off within 5 miles of downtown Sandpoint. Please refer to your tour description to see if your tour includes free pick-up and drop-off.
What do I need to bring for the tour?
Each tour will have it's own suggestions, requirements and restrictions listed under "Things You Need to Know." Please click on the specific tour you're interested in for more information.
Can we get off of the bus for photos?
Yes! All of our tours are designed with multiple stops and photo opportunities.
Will other people be on the tour with us?
Yes - it's a great way to meet new friends and enjoy the experience together! If you'd prefer to tour with just your party, based on prior bookings and availability, you may have the option to book the entire bus or reserve the bus for your own private charter.
Do you offer private charters?
Yes we do! Our private charters are a great way to celebrate those special occasions like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, team building and more. Your experienced guide will help you create and customize a truly unique, groovy tour unlike any other!
Do you sell merchandise?
Yes we do! You can purchase any of our groovy shirts and hats directly from our website at tour checkout or in person, on the bus before or after your tour.
To purchase online without booking a tour, click on the "Our Tours" page and scroll down to the FGT Merchandise Tour, click on "Book Now" and follow the instructions to complete your order.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Our groovy adventures make a great gift idea for that special person, couple or family. Just click on the "gift certificate" button at the bottom of the Our Tours page to purchase a gift certificate.
Can I bring my own food and/or drinks?
Complimentary bottled water is available on the bus. To help keep Gwennie sparkly clean, we kindly ask that any snacks brought onboard be consumed outside the bus at designated stops that allow food. Drinks MUST have a tight, screw top lid or will need to be left behind - thank you for understanding.
Can I drink alcohol on the bus?
Due to licensing laws, alcoholic beverages are not allowed on board the bus. Some of our tours may include vendors that serve alcoholic beverages for consumption on site. Our policy kindly requests that you refrain from bringing any remainder onto the bus.
